The law firm was founded in 1998 by legendary criminal defense attorney Fred Warren Bennett (1942-2007) and became Bennett & Bair in 2004 when Mr. Bair joined forces with Mr. Bennett. Today, Mr. Bair oversees all of the work of the firm. Our attorneys have more than half a century of legal experience and are widely recognized as stalwarts in the field of criminal defense. Mr. Bair has been recognized in 2007, 2008, and 2009 as a Maryland and Washington, D.C. “Super Lawyer” in the field of criminal defense, which places him in the top 5% of attorneys in the State and D.C. metropolitan area.

Renowned for aggressive representation, our firm takes pride in its unyielding work ethic and proactive approach to the practice of law. Experience may be the foundation to our success, but it is our undaunted advocacy that has led the way to so many of the victories enjoyed by our clients. No attorney can guarantee the outcome of a case, but we always provide zealous representation and an attention to detail in every case that is unsurpassed.
